Carry Smart Not Hard - My Casual Outing with Rumi

I hail from the "Manchester city of South India"- Coimbatore. Staying abroad, I’ve always missed the tasty Siruvani water, half- Kaalan, Annapurna Dosa and Filter coffee.  So, this time on going back home, I decided to make the most out of it, visiting all my favourite places at a go with my smart bag from Strap It. After a week of binging at my favourite eateries and shopping silks for my mom (though I know they will lie in her wardrobe forever). The boredom crept in!

So, jumping on the bandwagon, I decided to plan a causal outing with my Royal Enfield and Rumi. Rumi is not my girlfriend (how I wish). Well, in reality, Rumi is a CORDURA® bag online from Strap It. Cos’ you see, It is better to carry that extra pair of sports shoes to cater for change of plans instead of having to trek with my riding boots on.

So I set out early in the morning to have my first cup of chai in a small tea stall in Ooty. I cruised the bulls through the mountains with no thought in mind but to enjoy the journey, taking pictures so that I could brag about the story later when I return to the UK. So, after visiting the botanical garden, tea estates, Kothagiri hill trek and Pykara waterfalls. I returned with my bag loaded with Ooty special rusks from the west coast bakery, homemade chocolates, tea, spices for mom, eucalyptus oil and other souvenirs. It had been such a memorable trip that it would not have been possible without my smart bag Rumi.
